Aslamu Alikum
I have come across multiple Islamic instructors in my community who gave me some varying answers when it comes to makeup when outside. Based on my understanding they have stated that makeup not adding anything to the appearance such as bright colors or liners is okay. But I wanted to get a strong answer as to whether it is okay to wear concealer outside or foundation just to have an overall clean and fresh appearance in public settings.
I Also wanted to ask because when I was unsure and needed a quick answer I took a khira with a booklet I have at home and it said la taf’al.
so I was a bit confused and Im hoping for an answer to clear the point for me. Jazakallah for your help.
