Assalamwalaikum,
I am seeking guidance on the permissibility of getting a Brazilian wax in Islam. Specifically, is it allowed for a woman to undergo this procedure if it is done by a female in a private setting? My intention is to maintain hygiene and address skin concerns, as I have PCOS and experience significant darkening when I shave at home. The area is way darker than normal and it only gets worse. I need to shave every two days, as my growth is very fast it worsens the issue. I have tried different methods but they dont help. I am soon to be married and I wanted to see if it was allowed. I would greatly appreciate if you would be able to help me with this.

It is not allowed for anyone except the husband and the wife to look at each other’s private parts. However, it is permissible for medical purposes or in an emergency case.
